If you’re a midlife woman, make strength training a priority.
💪 After the age of 40, you lose 5-10% of your muscle mass each decade, which is the main reason why your metabolism drops This is not inevitable! Strength training can slow, and even reverse this loss of muscle.
💪 When you’re stronger, you’ll be able to move better and do more in your everyday life. You’ll create more independence and have more confidence to do the things you want to do!
💪 Strength training also creates more body awareness and balance, therefore reducing the chances of falls and accidents.
💪 Strength training can prevent bone loss, and even build new bone, reducing your risk of osteopenia and osteoporosis
💪 Strength training can improve body image and confidence in midlife so that you can embrace these years and take on life!!
